sideeffectsUSE: Classified as an anti-cachexia drug. It acts primarily to reverse the metabolic processes of debilitation, loss of energy, weight loss and wasting associated with cancer. It may also stabilize or regress tumors.

SIDE EFFECTS: Most frequent (5-6%); dyspepsia (nausea & vomiting). Other reported side effects include dry skin and/or pruritis. If treatment is continued beyond 2 months without interruption, paresthesis and mild symptoms of peripheral neuritis may result.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:  Dosage depends on weight and is determined by your doctor. Generally, the medication is used for 6 weeks and then interrupted by a one or two week drug-free interval. Hydrazine Sulfate is most effective when given by itself (no other medication within ½ hour before or after administration). It is usually taken before a meal

  • Days 1 – 3: 1 capsule before breakfast daily
  • Days 4 – 6: 1 capsule twice daily before breakfast & dinner
  • Days 7+: 1 capsule 3 times daily, approximately every 8 hours beginning with breakfast.
  • Upon completion of the first 100 capsules, wait seven (7) days before beginning the next bottle. With the second or following bottles of capsules, the maintenance dosage is 1 capsule twice daily (before breakfast and dinner).

ALWAYS TAKE THE CAPSULES ON EMPTY STOMACH

MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED DOSAGE is 3 capsules in any 24 hour period, but may be adjusted on advice by your doctor. 

When taking Hydrazine Sulfate the use of any alcohol, barbiturates, tranquilizers, anti-depressants, sedatives, Vitamin B-6, and over-the-counter cold/allergy medicine isPROHIBITED. Consult your doctor if you have questions about any other medication you may be taking.
